2006

The year 2006 bears both the seeds of radical change that will benefit mankind and the bothersome characteristics of the fin de cycle that some would call “destruction of the old.”  Those who cling to the past and the predictability it so often promises will feel destabilized as the destruction of the old proceeds.   Those who recognize the seeds of radical change, in the present case,  the crumbling of the financial and economic systems of the world, will rejoice that these manmade systems are finally giving way to the higher vibrations that earth is entertaining.  Mankind will now be able to chart its way to soul liberation.

Those who can visualize the light at the end of the tunnel and can understand that this turmoil and chaos mark mankind’s final liberation from the shackles of finance and warfare can rejoice while experiencing a few personal inconveniences.  Those who cling to the present system and are relatively happy the way things are going on earth may resent the changes “imposed” upon them as inconveniences.

Whichever tendency one exhibits in face of the changes challenging us today, ALL must go through years like 2006, that will try our nerves, irritate or disturb our daily lives,  and make us miserable.  Some will have no money to pay the bills, their credit cards will be maxed out, budding businesses will struggle, job losses will abound, and health problems due to stress will top off things.   The newspapers will finally admit the crash of the stock market, the bursting of the worldwide property bubble, and the fact that you are most likely holding more debt on assets that are deflating in value by the day.  Or you may find that the paper money that you have worked so hard to save is now buying less and less.  These bothersome disturbances are bound to try even the most enlightened for the few years to come.

As this turmoil swirls about our existence, those who hold to the light at the end of tunnel will surely find time to celebrate the miracle of life in a consecrated daily meditation.  Meditation is probably the most powerful tool (Meditation and Invocation) we have at our disposal for righting the wrong that seems to torment us, and just giving thanks to the great teachers of the past for showing us this tool, is indeed an occasion for celebration.  Furthermore, we can celebrate the stability of mind we have gained through meditation by offering our service to our neighbors and mankind.  Let Meditation and Service rule this year and others that follow!

Through meditation those who get knocked off balance from time to time have the option of taking control of the ship and getting things back on kilter with a minimum of whining and complaining.  Those who continue to complain that they cannot focus or concentrate long enough to benefit from meditation will thus just have to suffer the consequences of not using such a tool to combat these challenges.  It’s like a soldier who forgets his weapons in a battle.  Some will cave in to the pressures and go insane, just for lack of discipline and self-care.

This is the fin de cycle we are now living in.  There is no way around this situation. You need a hearty and brave attitude to face the challenges knocking at our doors.  The year 2006 will be one of several years that will shock and dismay . . . as we shall see after the solar eclipse of March 29, 2006.

Create that sacred spot in your homes where no one can bother you and only you can go to for solitude and communication with your Higher Self and, from time to time, communion with the Great Ones.  Benefit from the ongoing guidance They offer you in your daily lives during these times of turmoil, and like Moses and the Children of Israel, walk over the waves of turbulence to your land of milk and honey.
