Audio on Occult Commentaries
You may listen to these rare recordings of Charles W. Leadbeater, renown Theosophist, delivering two speeches entitled "The Great Brotherhood of Light" and "To Those Who Mourn" in the early 1930's just before he passed on.
When Mr. Leadbeater received a precipitated letter from the Master Kuthumi in October, 1884, accepting him as His chela or pupil, he immediately left a promising position as curate in the Parish of Bramshott, Hampshire, England in the Church of England to join Mme. Blavatsky and Henry Steel Olcott in their work with the Theosophy movement in India. There, the Master Kuthumi trained him over a period of years along with the Masters Morya and Djwal Khul.
After both founders of the Theosophy Society had passed on, he along with Dr. Annie Besant led the theosophical movement throughout the world. He was a prolific writer on the occult and Theosophy and through his works, he continues to influence occult thought.
Following these two speeches is a discourse called, "The Tenets of Theosophy" by C. Jinarajadasa, an Indian contemporary of Mr. Leadbeater's in the Theosophical Society in Adyar, India. He is the author of several works on Theosophy, notably The "K.H." Letters to C.W. Leadbeater detailing with personal observations and commentaries the extraordinary correspondence between Mr. Leadbeater and the Master Kuthumi (Koot Hoomi).
